Who she was…
We found Malenna at a horse rescue. She had been purchased cheaply at auction. She was older, thin, pregnant, and had chipped pink polish on her hooves. She lost her foal part way through the pregnancy.
Who she is now…
Malenna is the oldest herd member, somewhere in her 30s probably. She is fiesty, and keeps up with the much larger and younger horses. Malenna is friendly, yet somewhat standoffish and opinionated.
Because of her age and a deformed hind leg, we do not use Malenna for riding. She does sometimes choose to participate in other classes, and in greeting guests.
