Volunteer on the farm
Come help with various farm projects like cleaning animal pens, building fences, brushing animals and more. Please note there currently are no available projects with gardens or poultry. In exchange, we teach you and offer you some free time with the goats or horses.
Be prepared to work and get dirty. This is not a suitable activity for younger children, and all minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. If your child is too young to do chores at home, your child is too young for the volunteer program. Anyone present on the volunteer day should be there to participate; we ask that parents not entertain younger children by visiting animals while the rest of the family works. This is for your and our and our animals’ safety.
Plan on a half hour meeting and orientation to determine if the volunteer program is a good fit for you. After that, we do a trial work session together. If all goes well, you will be invited into the volunteer program and given access to the volunteer google calendar of available dates/times.
