Homesteading is Messy Business

We woke up to a dead antelope in our front yard. I’ll spare you all the picture that the High Plainsboy took but basically its hind quarter had been knawed into pretty good and the High Plainsman thinks it was a bobcat or something rather than a coyote.

We disposed of it.

I hope whatever got it decided that our front yard wasn’t an ideal place to kill. The goats aren’t far from where it happened. We feel like they ar wpretty secure in their shelter but I’ll feel better once we move them to their new barn.
