Forget-me-nots, all the way down the creek. This area was impassable with blackberry brambles not many years ago, but after years of seasonal grazing by the #Melliodora milking goats, the ecosystem has moved on to a soft herb understory for the poplars, willows, bunya pines and other trees of this novel ecosystem. Biological control techniques for building a useful community space, no chemicals required. And now it’s so beautiful.

Also, directly after taking this, I slipped right over and stacked it completely. Just to modify the dreamy gorgeousness of this morning. Still pretty tho ? #permacultureliving #springcreekcommunityforest
