For our 2027 kid crop, we have 9 does bred with kidding staggered between January and March 2027. We anticipate between 9 and 18+ kids across our two dedicated product lines.Tier 1 · Priority Reservation (Max 2 Holders per Season)
Priority Reservations secure first choice of the entire 2027 kid crop (after farm keeper selections). Holders select a simultaneous Primary and Backup pairing hold. First photos and details are texted to you immediately upon birth before any newsletter or social media announcement, with a 3-day decision window to finalize selections.
- • $50 Reservation Fee: 100% refundable if no kids born this season are a fit for your herd. Does not roll over to future seasons.
- • Hold Mechanics: Each hold requires a standard $50 deposit; if your Primary hold converts to a sale, your Backup deposit is promptly refunded.
- • Strict Deadline: Priority registration closes permanently the moment the first kid of the season is born.

How Purchasing & Deposits Work
* Standard $50 Hold Deposit: A $50 deposit reserves your available kid until weaning/pickup at 12 weeks of age. Deposits are non-refundable unless the kid sickens or dies while in BHF care, or BHF cancels the sale.
* Wether Deposit Policy: Wether deposits are refundable under our standard policy if the kid was listed for sale as a wether. However, deposits are strictly non-refundable with no exceptions if the kid was originally listed as a breeding-quality buck and the buyer requested castration prior to pickup.
* Pricing Structure: Males start around $250 (wether packages may be priced lower; high-demand color bucklings are often priced higher). Females start at $325. Purebred kid prices include official signed MGR registration certificates and transfer papers.
* Accepted Payment Methods: PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, Cash, or Postal Money Order. No time payments without prior written arrangement. Balances must be settled prior to or at time of animal release.
* Pickup & Boarding: Pickups are arranged around 12 weeks weaning in a safe, covered, well-ventilated vehicle. A $2/day boarding fee plus any required medical costs applies if the animal is not picked up within one week of the agreed pickup date.
* Out-of-State Transport: A Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI health certificate) is required by law for transport outside of South Carolina, arranged prior to transport at buyer's expense.
* Right of Refusal: Barakah Heritage Farm reserves the right to decline any sale for any reason in the best interest of our livestock. If we decline a sale, 100% of all monies received—including deposit—are refunded immediately.
* Myotonic Trait Disclaimer: Fainting frequency and degree varies by individual animal, diet, weather, age, and environment and is not guaranteed.
* Value-Added Care Package: Every purchase includes a free 1-year Homeherd Plus digital records membership, health consultation support, and free annual doe breeding privileges back to our herd sires.
Official Livestock Sales Agreement & Contract
All live animal sales are governed by our standard written purchase agreement covering health guarantees, biosecurity verification, registration transfer, and transport requirements.
