Purebred MGR Fainting Goat Standards
Myotonic goats have a very distinctive breed type that is based mostly on head and body conformation. They possess an inherited muscle trait called myotonia congenita, leading to an increase in muscle mass and exceptional docility.

Historical 2021 Herd Health & Testing Records
WADDL Biosecurity & Disease Free Status
Barakah Heritage Farm maintained a strict closed herd in Benton, Pennsylvania. All foundation breeding parents were tested 100% negative annually for CAE, CL, and Johne's Disease through the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL) prior to kids departing for new farms.
Historical note: Certificates for 2020 and 2021 annual WADDL testing were archived permanently in our farm health registries.
