Historical Reference Notice: Program No Longer Offered
The Become A Horse Hero sponsorship initiative was an equine support and community outreach program offered between 2017 and 2021 at our Pennsylvania farm locations in partnership with East West Equestrian Arts. This program has concluded and is preserved here as part of our permanent farm history and archival records.
Program Overview & Preservation Mission
The Horse Hero Sponsorship program was established to connect individuals, families, and classroom groups with the equine herd at Barakah Heritage Farm. Sponsorship contributions directly supported feed, veterinary care, and the preservation of critically rare classical Arabian bloodlines (including preservation lines of the desert-bred Jilfan Sitam Al Bulad strain) alongside beloved rescue horses and riding partners.

Historical Sponsorship Guidelines (Archived Terms)
During the active years of the program, sponsorships operated under clear non-ownership terms designed around equine welfare and community participation:
- One-Year Duration: All sponsorships were valid for a one-year period with annual renewal options.
- Custody & Welfare: Sponsored horses remained under the lifelong care and custody of East West Equestrian Arts and Barakah Heritage Farm; sponsorships conferred no ownership rights.
- Shared Sponsorships: Horses could have multiple donors, allowing classrooms and youth groups to participate affordably.
- Educational Recognition: Donors received commemorative certificates, high-resolution digital wallpapers, farm updates, and social media acknowledgments.
