The 2022 records represent the kids born in Benton, Pennsylvania then moved to Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. Barakah Heritage Farm and the Oak Hill breeding program later relocated to Winnsboro, South Carolina in 2023. First year of the new herd of Fainting Goats built from old Oak Hill Lines plus the new American Guernseys.
In late 2021 we carefully searched for goats from our Oak Hill genetics to rebuild the herd. Of special note is Oak Hill Latte, born at our first farm in Gardners Pennsylvania and donated back to us. Every goat in the new breeding herd was chosen for carrying the Oak Hill lines while bringing in some new champion bloodlines.
Historical context: Barakah Heritage Farm had been breeding and selling goats since 2009 at the time of the 2022 records.Looking for Currently Available Goats?

Historical 2022 Herd Health Records
Historical 2022 testing note: Following the late 2021 barn fire, the entire herd was rebuilt with outside foundation stock. All goats listed in prior 2020 and 2021 test results were deceased. New foundation stock brought in at the end of 2021 was tested or came from verified tested herds. The 2022 sales program called for all stock to be tested annually for CAE, CL, and Johne's Disease via accredited veterinary laboratories (WADDL) prior to sold goats leaving for new homes. This archive does not represent current goat availability.
